Social Skills Groups
Throughout the year we conduct social skill groups for a variety of ages and abilities. Examples of skills covered in these groups include; using appropriate loudness and tone of voice, interpreting and utilizing non-verbal communication, understanding and interpreting others feelings and participating in small talk. For younger children, skills include, turn taking, appropriate play, responding to peers and cooperating with others.
If you are interested in social skills groups please contact us. Children are typically pre-screened to determine appropriate group placement.
